BicDroid develops cryptography-rooted cybersecurity technologies based on a fundamental principle: data must protect itself. Our technologies span filesystem and data protection, application and process identity, cryptographic authentication, access control, secure communications, and emerging security infrastructure for AI agents.
Our products include QDocSE, BIACS, LineageCrypt, LightNet, and PACSAC, addressing security from enterprise servers and critical infrastructure to applications, networks, mobile devices, and AI agents.
What You Will Work On
You will develop production security technologies at the boundary between Linux kernels, operating systems, cryptography, applications, and networks.
Depending on your background and projects, your work may include:
- Developing Linux kernel and low-level systems components in C/C++.
- Working with filesystems, VFS, processes, memory, networking, kernel modules, and security mechanisms.
- Developing filesystem encryption and cryptographic data-protection technologies.
- Developing application/process identification, runtime isolation, and access-control mechanisms.
- Developing kernel-level network security, application-aware communication control, and transparent traffic protection.
- Supporting cryptographic identity and security infrastructure for applications and AI agents.
- Debugging kernel crashes, race conditions, deadlocks, memory/resource problems, and complex kernel/user-space interactions.
- Improving compatibility, reliability, security, and performance across Linux distributions, kernel versions, databases, containers, and enterprise applications.
- Developing automated tests, diagnostic tools, and methods for validating systems-level security products.
This is product engineering, not simply kernel programming. Our technologies operate in complex production environments, so security mechanisms must also be reliable, efficient, maintainable, and minimally disruptive to existing systems.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome candidates from a broad systems-software background. You do not need to be an experienced Linux kernel developer to apply.
Strong candidates may have experience in:
- C/C++ systems programming
- Linux development and debugging
- Operating systems or embedded systems
- Linux kernel development, kernel modules, or device drivers
- Filesystems, storage, databases, or networking
- Multithreading, synchronization, memory management, and IPC
- Cybersecurity or cryptographic software
- Containers and enterprise Linux environments
Most importantly, we look for developers with strong fundamentals, systematic problem-solving ability, curiosity, and sound engineering judgment.
